Sadie's Story

  • Throughout the ODST campaign, pieces of a tangential side-story can be uncovered. It is a parallel story, telling of the events leading up to the destruction of New Mombasa from the perspective of a citizen, Sadie.
  • Developed by Fourth Wall Studios (writers of the original I Love Bees campaign for Halo 2), with Joe Staten of Bungie Studios
  • Illustrated by Ashley Wood, comic book artist
  • Reportedly contains twice the audio voice acting as ODST itself

The Format

  • Sadie's Story is unraveled through 30 short audio segments, or COMM data, recovered through the streets of New Mombasa by the Rookie.
  • Named in a similar fashoin as "Acts" and "Scenes", but as "Circles" and "Arcs" (eg, "Circle 2, Arc 3")

(may contain spoilers!)

  • Circle 2, Arc 2 contains the clip from the original teaser trailer for Halo: Recon in which The Superintendent says "Maddie, where are you?", except it names Sadie instead of Maddie.
