Membership
The Members sign-in section of the SOTA website is currently listed as under construction. Additionally, contained within the Society's website are two links to join the group mailing list; however, neither link contains an e-mail address.
SOTA_membership.pdf is a form available to apply for membership. The link was found commented out in the source code of the members page of the SOTA site. There is a note in the Membership Application saying "Membership reviews usually happen on the first day of the new lunar cycle." The start of the next lunar cycle is on July 14, 2007 at 12:04 UTC according to the US Naval Observatory.
As of 23 June 2007 the e-mail contained in the application form (DoYouGrok@societyoftheancients.com) is still inoperative.
